I founded Safari Searches USA in 2019 and have been in the Human Capital/Talent Acquisition/ Industry for 35 years, working with hundreds of Fortune 500 companies in the pharma, life sciences and medical device space.
It is and has always been my goal to not only find the best and brightest, but to also become a true business partner in the process. I keep a close eye on timelines, budgets, collaborative efforts and future needs of our clients. My database is extremely current and valuable. I am a consultant in solving problems that my clients, at times cannot see.
I started as the Vice President of a company founded by Baseball Hall of Famer, Steve Garvey and Korn Ferry Executive Search Icon Michael J. Corey. It was there that I established myself as a premier talent management and human capital professional working with Anheuser Busch, Rawlings Sporting Goods, Merrill Lynch, Pepsico and many others. Through time I focused on the sciences.
Many if not all of my business partnerships include continual personal executive relationships. Many Board Members, CEOs/CFOs/CHROs who I assist with staffing needs, continue to go on as personal clients and candidates who benefit from Safari Searches' assignments and further their own personal careers.
My way of doing business is simple. 1.) I establish a solid relationship, 2.) We gather information that sells the opportunity and describes what my client prefers, 3.) I present the agreement and share expectations.
My pace of acquiring candidates and creating a short list is brisk and thorough. I carefully get after it. 4.) I give follow ups and updates carefully based on the client's schedule.
I am sensitive to SOPs, protocols and the hiring authority's time. Reference checks can be our responsibility or the clients'. I have contingency plans as well as retained agreements that suit my clients best.
I am also very familiar with the current third-party platforms that attempt to work with large companies and make the promise of quantitative successes.

In the spring of 2022 I was given several opportunities to work contractually with three medical device/ therapeutic companies who had "hard to fill" positions that their in-house talent acquisition personnel weren't able to fill. I developed a monthly fee based on number of positions and estimated time-to-completion ratios. This appears to be a very lucrative option for some of my clients.
I also offer the traditional contingency fee of 18% with a replacement guarantee.

Recruiting firm specializing in biotech, life sciences, medical device and all peripheral areas including admin, finance, supply chain and c-level positions. Fees are negotiated but typically do not exceed 18%. Or clients can opt for fractionalized pricing meaning a flat monthly fee based on positions/time to complete.
